Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective from: 1 मई 2026·Last updated: 4 मई 2026

Welcome to PDFtoAll. These Terms and Conditions of Service (hereafter, "Terms") govern access and use of the pdftoall.co website and all tools made available therein (hereafter, the "Service"). By using the Service, you declare that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, you are invited not to use the Service.

1. Service Description

PDFtoAll provides a suite of web tools for managing, editing, converting and transforming documents in PDF format and other common formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG/PNG images, HTML). The tools include, by way of example, operations of merging, splitting, compression, conversion, digital signature, password protection, redaction, editing, AI summarization and automatic translation.

For most tools, file processing occurs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and standard web APIs: files are not uploaded to our servers. For some more advanced operations (in particular AI summaries and automatic translation), the extracted text from the document may be sent to third-party providers, as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must be at least 16 years old or the minimum age required in your country of residence to consent to the processing of your personal data. Minors may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and diligently. In particular, it is prohibited:

  • Using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purposes.
  • Uploading content that violates copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Uploading illegal, pornographic, defamatory content, or content inciting violence, hatred or discrimination.
  • Circumventing or attempting to circumvent password protections on PDF files you do not rightfully own.
  • Using the Service for large-scale automated analysis (scraping, intensive crawling) without prior authorization.
  • Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service or introducing viruses, malware or malicious code.
  • Reverse engineering the Service code, except as permitted by law.
  • Reselling or making aggregate commercial use of the Service without written authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend access to the Service for anyone who violates these rules.

4. Your Files

4.1 Ownership

Files and content you upload to the Service remain your exclusive property. PDFtoAll claims no rights to your documents.

4.2 Limited Processing License

By uploading a file, you grant us a limited, free and revocable license valid only for the time necessary for the requested processing, to read and transform the file solely for the purpose of delivering the tool you have chosen. For tools relying on third-party services (AI summarization, translation), the extracted text may be transmitted to the third-party provider for the time necessary for the operation.

4.3 User Warranties

You declare that you are the rightful owner of the uploaded content or have all necessary rights to use it. You are responsible for the content you upload and will indemnify us from any third-party claims related to it.

4.4 Retention

For client-side tools (the majority), your files are never transmitted to our servers. For tools requiring server-side processing (exceptional case), files are automatically deleted within 60 minutes of operation completion.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights related to the Service — code, design, "PDFtoAll" trademark, logo, blog content, illustrations, structure — are exclusive property of PDFtoAll or its licensors, and are protected by Italian, European and international law. You are granted solely a personal and limited license to access and use for the purposes described in these Terms.

6. Privacy

Processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. We invite you to read it carefully to understand which data we collect, for what purposes and what rights you can exercise under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Service is funded by advertising delivered by third-party ad networks. Advertising content is clearly identified as such and managed through the cookie consent banner shown on first access. We have no editorial control over advertising content displayed.

Some tools (in particular Summarize PDF with AI and Translate PDF) rely on services provided by third parties, as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the functioning, availability or quality of third-party services, except for our obligations as data controller under the GDPR.

8. Availability and Service Changes

We endeavor to ensure the continuous availability of the Service, but do not guarantee a specific uptime level. The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, force majeure or updates.

We may modify, add, replace or remove tools and features at any time. As this is a free service, you have no right to compensation for modifications or interruptions.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim any warranty relating to:

  • Fitness for a particular or commercial purpose.
  • Absence of errors, bugs or malfunctions.
  • Uninterrupted availability of the Service.
  • Accuracy, completeness or timeliness of results produced by the tools.
  • Compatibility with all browsers, operating systems or devices.

In particular, output produced by AI-powered tools (summaries, translations) may contain inaccuracies or errors. You are required to verify the accuracy of results before using them for any critical purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and except for cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence and indefeasible consumer rights, PDFtoAll shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential or incidental damages (loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm).
  • Loss or damage to your files. It is your responsibility to maintain backup copies of originals.
  • Inadequate results produced by the tools, in particular for complex or damaged documents.
  • Behavior of third parties, including other Users and third-party service providers.
  • Force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • Decisions or actions taken on the basis of Service output.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time for technical, regulatory or organizational reasons. Changes will be published on this page with indication of the date of last update. For substantial modifications, adequate notice will be given through a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modifications.

12. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by Italian law and applicable European regulations, in accordance with Regulation (EC) 593/2008 (Rome I).

If you access the Service as a consumer, no provision of these Terms derogates the indefeasible rights recognized to you by Italian law and European regulations, including the right to bring proceedings before the court of your place of residence and access to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures.

ODR Platform: pursuant to Regulation (EU) 524/2013, in case of dispute you may access the European online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
